Tarry-Stone Cottages - Dullstroom

We recently stayed at Tarry-Stone Cottages and had a wonderful experience. The cottage we stayed in, Apple Tree Cottage, was beautiful. It was impeccably furnished and cozy with fireplaces throughout. We especially loved the outdoor shower and the cozy outdoor entertainment area. The cottage had everything we needed and the open plan kitchen was well stocked. The location was also great, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. We also enjoyed dining at the neighboring hotel, The Vine Bar & Eatery with amazing food and atmosphere.

The cottage at Tarry-Stone was beautifully decorated with attention to detail. The furnishings were comfortable and the rooms spacious. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with luxurious soaps and creams. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The location was excellent and the amenities really good.

We had a great weekend getaway! The location was superb, right in the heart of town and within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. The cottage we stayed in was equipped with everything we needed, including a fully stocked kitchen and a cozy fireplace. The staff was also very accommodating and even provided us with helpful updates via WhatsApp throughout our stay.

While there were a few minor inconveniences, such as low water pressure in the showers and occasional power disturbances, they did not significantly impact our overall experience. The WiFi also became slow and unreliable when more guests arrived.

The cottage I stayed at was perfectly located, just a short walk away from the main street where all the restaurants and shops are. The spacious and clean room was equipped with every detail in mind, making it a comfortable stay. The cozy fireplace added to the charm during cold nights. The gardens were well-maintained and beautiful, and I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The communication from the staff, including updates via WhatsApp, was professional and helpful.

The fridge and oven in the cottage were faulty, but the staff promptly addressed the issue and provided alternative solutions during my stay.

The cottages are absolutely amazing! They have everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy living area with a flat-screen TV and Blu-ray player. Plus, the private bathrooms are clean and stocked with free toiletries. I felt right at home here as a business guest.

Personally, I found the lack of a microwave in the cottages a bit inconvenient. But hey, I understand that some people might not even need one, so it's just my personal preference.

The cottage was cozy, impeccably clean, and well-appointed. Friendly and helpful staff. Magical linen and serene gardens. Good location.

Had a blast hiking nearby, thanks to the free bikes provided. The villa was luxurious, with a cozy fireplace and all the comforts you could dream of. I even got to show off my culinary skills in the well-equipped kitchen!

Just loved the mystery of not knowing about the construction next door. The constant noise was a delightful surprise!

Stunning Furniture: The cottage itself was beautiful, and the furniture was stunning. It made me feel like I was staying in a high-end designer showroom rather than a hotel. The attention to detail and the quality of the furnishings really added a touch of luxury to my stay.

Uncomfortable Bed: The only minor issue was the bed in the cottage, which was quite uncomfortable. It was very hard and felt like sleeping on the floor.

The decor of the unit was stunning, with all the amenities of home and more. the gardens were beautifully kept, and the outside patio area was perfection. We enjoyed evenings by the fire and the furniture was super comfortable. It was conveniently located near the town, with everything within walking distance. the generator was a helpful feature during load-shedding.

Felt so at home, no complaints.

The cottage exceeded all expectations, from the beautifully finished decor to the amazing fireplaces with ample firewood. The kitchen was well-equipped and the TV and DSTV provided great entertainment. The security system added peace of mind. The host was friendly and prompt in resolving any issues. A perfect location near the main street. We'll definitely be back!

Excellent location near restaurants and attractions, with a peaceful garden and daily housekeeping. Apple Tree Cottage is beautifully furnished and comfortable, with hidden gems like an outdoor shower and garden boma. Nearby Vine Bar & Eatery offers fantastic food and atmosphere.
